A prayer

Dear God,

I pray that You guide me through this life, to show me what my future pathway is like; if this job is right for  me, and if it isn't, I pray for You to open up doors for me. I believe that You would bless me with the right one, and guide me through tough times. Please give me the strength to own up for myself. Please, I pray that You too, give me a peace of mind to control my anger and the frustrations in me now. I am at a crossroad now, not knowing where I should go. Take my hand, and lead me. God, I thank you for all the things in my life. For my family, friends, an amazing mentor, and great colleagues.

In Jesus's Name,
Amen.

Finding oneself

Hello there,

So, I am at a crossroad, which I am pretty dead sure all of you do experience this exact same feeling as I do. Initially I thought I have finally found my true passion calling at this company when my boss expresses his wish to start a social media department for me. I mean, yes, I am pretty damn sure I know I want to do this - and heck, I have never been more determined in my life to make this come true. I have a vision where I can actually see myself doing. The challenge here is how do I begin and where do I seek the answers from?

Some would say life is actually pretty straightforward, the only factor complicating life is You. I couldn't agree more. However, I couldn't help but to think that it can be truly perplexing when you get so bogged down between the choices you have in life and you are absolutely clueless in deciding which pathway you ought to follow. What do you do when such scenario arises?

Life is a journey made up of a lot of road choices and decisions. For every decision you make, you will have a substantial different ending from one another. How do you know what is truly right for you? Prayers have been known to answer many many queries.

What do you lot think? And how do you usually overcome such difficulty/options that were/are presented in your pathway?

When Life Sucks You In

Recently, I have been dealing with some of the grievance of my mates when they found out that their loved ones suffer from one of the deadliest disease, Cancer.

My biggest fear is definitely deaths, especially of the ones closest to me. I couldn't fathom the process of even having to go through the receiving of the news and brace myself in every scrap of courage and faith in me to deal with this. This is why I absolutely detest growing up, because as the number adds up year after year, the ones around me gets older and older.

When I first returned to Malaysia from the States, I had to firsthand witnessed the shrinkage of my dear ol' daddy brought tears to my eyes. Happiness, and more sadness to it. The man that once had the strength to lift my fat chubby ass up when I was a little girl, is now experiencing body aches and reduction of appetite. Even as I'm writing this while thinking of it brings heartache to my soul. I just wish I have all the power in the world to keep them alive as long as I live.

Life is short. Waking up every day feeling healthy is a blessing in disguise. People get so caught up with such materialistic matters, that they take so many things for granted. Worst of all, most of us think we have all the time in the world to spend time with our loved ones. It doesn't work that way. Money can't buy happiness. Chasing money only result in an increase of hunger and greed towards obtaining more Benjamin Franklins. In return, what do you normally get? Fraternizing with other women/men, drugs, unnecessary spending of money, and a BIG FAT ZERO time spent with your family.

Money is important, no one in this world can deny that fact. However, it is most certainly paramount to keep in mind and constantly reminding yourself to have a balance between work and time for your loved ones. Do not regret it last minute because there is definitely no way of you turning back time and restarting your old life, pondering what would be the alternative ending should you spend less time chasing the impossible while neglecting the ones that truly matters most.

Its' okay to cheat?

Alright lovers,

A friend of mine posted an article that totally was the biggest bollocks I have ever read in my entire life! (She didn't write it) No joke. And I felt that, I needed to voice out my concerns about this particular topic. Usually, I would be like, meh, its-stupid-but-whatever-kinda-thing but this is just outrageously full blown retarded! Perhaps this guy was just trying to write something so condescendingly dumb in order to provoke the readers and hoping to gain some form of popularity like the viral videos/stories.

Despite whatever justification you may use to stand up for this theory, what happens if some of the more naive males decided that hey, those 6 reasons totally made sense and I should be like that! I honestly couldn't fathom the logic behind this article. Yes, maybe its just for the fun of it, however would it not cause a social disaster?

So anyway here goes the article titled, "6 Reasons to Cheat On Your Girlfriend"

I'm going to quickly list out those 6 reasons and carefully pen out my thoughts on each one of them.

1) It's in Your Nature as A Man
2) Your Game Will Improve
3) Your Girlfriend Already "Cheated" On You
4) You Can Get Away With It
5) It Could Improve Your Relationship
6) You Will Truly Learn How To Live On The Edge

A) It's in Your Nature as A Man
I have heard countless of men, even my own bf, telling me this, "It's in our biological DNA. We are meant to fuck as many how women as possible. We are literally hunters"
Perhaps you lot are, but yes, why be in a relationship and cheat? If you think that you are supposed to live a free and fuck-as-many-women-as-possible lifestyle, please do it by all means. Just don't get in a relationship with another human being and fuck her life up!

B) Your Game Will Improve
"In general, whenever you consistently approach women with the intent of having sex with them and push your comfort zone, your skills with women will improve."

Okay, where is the sense in this? Your skills with women will improve? I really don't know what he's trying to convey here. You don't need to have any skills, just be yourself, and you'll eventually attract the right kinda girl for you. Have you not heard of the saying, "Just Be Yourself?".

C) Your Girlfriend Already "Cheated" On You
Absolutely. Please just keep using that pathetic excuse just so you won't feel bad when you are out there boning some other random women whom have absolutely do not give two hoots about you or your fucking well-being. This is honestly the worst excuse ever. What if you were really dating a sweet girl? I believe that when a man wants to cheat, he will give 101 excuses just to make it valid.

D) You Can Get Away With It
First few times? Maybe. The author has a point when he mentioned that some women do choose to hide from the fact and go on with their lives. Those women are either too nice, or they are simply thinking that this man loves her and he will eventually return to her side. Whatever. But, whether you are a splendid liar or the worlds' greatest cheater, one day, that one day, you will falter and well - leave your gf/wife for that other woman, or accidentally let the cat out of the bag. Every human is imperfect. Also, how long are you going to keep up with the lies and acts? Whats the point in it?

E) It Could Improve Your Relationship
Right. So, why not both girls and guys in the relationship cheat so that everything will be perfect! I don't see how because first of all, when a guy cheats, hes going to come home and have that look on his face. It could be guilt or it could be im-bored-with-you/im-not-having-sex-with-you-cause-im-tired-NOT-but-because-im-fucking-a few other-hotties! You will be causing huge strains in the relationship and nothing good will come out of that.

F) You Will Truly Learn How To Live On The Edge
Okay. This is his how he explained this point:
"Cheating and sexual promiscuity has its inherent risks. The risk of STDs, unwanted pregnancies, vengeful boyfriends, private detectives and in this day and age - false rape accusations and of course, getting caught. It requires a certain level of skill and either one big lie or a numerous little ones."

And if you do hit the jackpot, you are going to live with that horrible, brutal disease for the rest of your life. Pretty sweet, ain't it? To take such risk and put your quality of life on the line? And what then? You freaking regret for having promiscuous sex and try to spread some dumb shit message to the public when you know that this damn shit will happen?

Sometimes, it just gets me thinking if some of this people are really clueless about life, or they are just plain dumb. Really, life is as simple as ABC.

If you want to cheat, go live a single, free, and easy life. Do not burden the other individual. Go live on the edge as long as you want. Go explore your inner hunter self without putting other people's happiness at risk.

Tell me, what do you guys think and comment below.

When Lovers Become Strangers

As I was scrolling through Facebook news feeds (hourly routine - its like a MUST) reading a synopsis of what's happening, who's dying, bitches stories, I'm-pregnant etc, I came through this article titled, "When Lovers Become Strangers".

Upon reading it, it hits me hard. It isn't easy to simply erase all existing memories since Day 1 to the last day you guys called it off. Yes, certain vivid ones will linger around, slowly taunting you with its tantalizing yet somewhat confusing mixtures of sweetness and bitterness. Do you cry? Or do you smile at the thought of it? I don't know.

There was this part whereby the writer mentioned that "I want to believe that you either love someone, in some way, forever, or you never really loved them at all. "

It is truly perplexing because honestly, it has never crossed my mind even once (well maybe only ONCE) in my entire 25 years of living. Now, it has struck me. Perhaps the distance will soothe the pain. Perhaps.

I personally feel that it is outright saddening to have to scratch off the He/She's-The-One to Just-Friends, or maybe even an acquaintance. I thought he was The One until I realized, I am merely hoaxing myself into believing that we are so good together, happily ever after will be part of our ending. I haven't pulled the plug because deep down inside of me, there is a tiny part of me that screams out, "but.. but... BUT YOU LOVE HIM!".

Do I want to choose the pathway of making him a stranger? Unfortunately, I am still undecided yet, but I can tell you that my heart is slowly stiffening up. Slowly building up bricks around it, pushing him further into the gutters.

So no, I don't want to be put in such spotlight for this decision. I don't want to ever determine if my present or future lover a stranger.

I need YOUR advice!

Okay, its been nearly 2 years. ONLY 2 years! and the amount of changes this relationship has gone through is impeccable. Nawww... Just KIDDING!

Just like any other relationships, there are ups and downs in ours.

I have been immensely intense with us recently, and honestly, I can't exactly tell you why I feel such way. Making a relationship work is really tough. Well, at least for me. I'm not too sure about him. See, I always try to put myself in his shoes before a fight surfaces.

For instance, when my cousin told me he will be getting another male roommate, he literally expressed his unhappiness of having a male roommate, and definitely prefer a female one.
So, at first glance, I said to him, "oh is it because its cleaner to live with a female one as opposed to the male?"

To my surprise, he claims, "No, its not that. ...." (and he stops at that)

Of course I got so frustrated at him. What did he mean by that? I try not to care too much but it is slowly changing the perception of my idea of choosing this man and sacrificing so much for him. In the past nearly-2-years, he has nothing to worry about me because I dont' give him shit, I would rather take the public transportation in America than having him to pick me up or even walk in 4 inches snow/ walking to DD to get him breakfast during a snow storm while he comfortably sits at home watching TV.

Then, when he returned to Malaysia with me, I struggled wickedly hard to get him a job. Literally begging people I dont know to give him an opportunity. Finally, he has a job and guess what, hes still complaining about it.

I had even gave him my car, so he could travel 'comfortably' to work (though hes always boiling and yelling at the traffic!) while at one point in time, I had to take the public transportation (in MALAYSIA, which is bloody awful!), back home. Did I mention the danger of walking in Malaysia.

Not a single problem, and all I hear is ... complains complains complains.... work complains.... life complains... so many other hot girls out there.... this and that.

All of those pretty much made me think twice on this relationship and I honestly don't know anymore if I want to live like this.

So readers, drop in your faithful comments and share them with me.
Truly appreciate it!

Cheers,
cranberrypuddy

Commitment & Uncertainties

Dear readers,

How does one perceive commitment?

According to Google, commitment is the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity or anything at all.

Me: I think commitment is starting something, flourishing it with all your love, passion and faith, and then seeing it through despite the hardship and obstacles that come flying your way.

But, what happens if at the end of the day, the 'activity' you are committed to fails in spite of all circumstances?

It's not like I'm trying to be awfully pessimistic about this but the 'what-if' question plays a crucial part in your everyday life, right? Or do you just ignore the possibility of 'what-if' and then go with the flow? But then again, wouldn't you need like a back up plan eventually?

Tonnes of questions, with limited answers.

I don't know.

Love

Again and again you would hear people saying the word, "Love" without any hesitancy and you'd be like, is that word not supposed to be so sacred that it should only be mentioned like once in a blue moon? Or perhaps, we haven't perfectly understood the true meaning of it, and hence the vain usage of the word.

Now that I have mentioned it. What is Love?

Love can come in so many different ways - say, I absolutely love my parents or I love you, boyfriend or I love my friends, etc.
But today, I want to share my thoughts on loving your partner and being fully committed to him/her.

So, remember the bloke I was seeing back in the States, John? Well, he returned to Malaysia (I think I have mentioned it earlier in my previous posts) and I must say, its a darn struggle for sure. For the both of us. Different types of struggles though. The first six months was about us trying to adapt with the cultural shock and everything else like the horrible traffic jams, some nasty smelling odor coming from the underground sewerage pipes or the garbage cans that are simply overflowing with thrash, the weird stares you get from the locals and even discrimination. Of course the biggest challenge was adapting to the weather, finding a job and communication wise. He had a hard time communicating with the locals here as their English proficiency are absolutely next to nothing. Well, at least most of em'.  (Even I have trouble understanding them) Finding a job was the toughest for the both of us. I just started my job and having a hard time coping with the work and company culture whilst looking high and low for a job opportunity for him. Finally, Thank God, he found a great job.

Then, what happens after he slowly jive into the Asian culture and environment? He's going to lose a lot of the excitement he once felt before leaving America. He's going to get bored. He's going to miss home and the norm especially his friends. Uh oh?! But its been 8 months, and thank the Lord, we are still together - overcoming the obstacles in front of us.

Of course, I am not going to deny and paint my life a perfect picture because clearly, it is not. No one's life is. Yes, we are happy together. Very in love. At least I know I love him. A lot. As I grow older with time and experiences, dating and finding that particular someone to fit your life, your interests, your personality, family, friends and everything else is never easy. Heck, I couldn't give two shit when I was younger as all I cared about was gorgeous looking males. I was like a man. Imprinting my scent as globally as I could.

Then I met him. He turned me into a home making little lady, a cook and a cleaner on my terms of course. I simply enjoyed doing that. Something which I have never dreamt of unless I was yelled at by my dear mother. The need to care for him surpasses nearly everything else I have ever cared for except for my family, job and friends of course.

Yes, we have gone through a roller coaster ride. It wasn't an easy one. We have our terrible fights, make up and it happens all over again. Nonetheless, I love him still if not even more. I am not perfect. So is he. But understanding this is what makes it so perfect. The commitment to stay and persevere with whatever hardships and problems are incredibly important. I have never been so committed in my life ever with anything. As a matter of fact, I have the tendency to give up fairly quickly. But recently, I realised that should I put my mind together to do something, it works out just fine. My current job, and my relationship.

So love, to me, is the willingness to care and nurture your partner to ensure that he is happy, building him up whenever he's down, reaching down to him anytime he needs it, and forgiveness and understanding.

Whats love to you?

Social Media Craze!

I must applaud Mark Zuckerberg, Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew Mccollum, Chris Hughes, Reid Hoffman, Allen Blue, Konstantin Guericke, Kevin Systrom etc. for their abilities in predicting our future social media platform that is so simple yet powerful enough to have corporations paying tonnes of money for advertisement.

Simple a genius!

Why haven't I thought of that? Now, I'm in my cubicle, wrecking my brains and creativity juice trying to create something to penetrate into the market.

Can't let the cats out of the bag yet - but I genuinely hope this will be a major breakthrough. Everyone's trying to do it but none highly successful yet - why? I have no freaking idea, but hey, I'm trying to figure it out and make it all worthwhile!

I have people telling me to give it up cause its merely hopes and dreams but everything is possible. I know I will make it.

p/s: the moment something comes out from my plan - will reveal it to you darlings.

Until then, Wish me luck loves,
xoxo

2014: New Year New Me BS

Okay, so it is indeed the time of the year again - the time where people take the 'opportunity' to reinvent a whole new identity to oneself.

Necessary or unnecessary?

I have gone past enough New Years to realize that a New Year is not the time to reinvent or make up an entire list of bollocks/new personalities to yourself because it doesn't last. Boy, trust me - it won't even work after Day 2.

Below are the things I've tried changing/implementing to myself in the past (at least) 3 New Years ago:

a) 2013: To be more patient, hardworking, utilize time with relevant activities such as reading more, get a 5 figure paying job, sleep earlier, no partying so much, less alcohol, cook more
b) 2012: To be more patient, hardworking, utilize time with relevant activities such as reading more, get a 5 figure paying job, sleep earlier, no partying so much, less alcohol, cook more
c) 2011: To be more patient, hardworking, utilize time with relevant activities such as reading more, get a 5 figure paying job, sleep earlier, no partying so much, less alcohol, cook more

Can you identify a pattern there? YES! Each year, we will subconsciously be making similar if not exact same resolutions because the problem here is we are merely listing down what we want instead of how we want to realize our wishes! (Also, deciding on concrete goals instead of a general picture would help too)

So in the year 2014, here are my goals:

a) Want my Social Media department to kick off in a good start by having the first real estate video to go viral
b) Get an increase in YouTube subscribers to minimum 150 people within the first month
c) Socialize more with socialites and elites of the community
d) Read more articles on LinkedIn and magazines
e) Watch more youtube videos for marketing/advertisements
f) To be the corporate woman in the making with such classy manners and increase in communication skills
g) An increase in salary! Very important cause everything is more expensive!

Whats yours readers? Now, I want you lot to make up concrete goals - something that you can really achieve.

Wishing you all the best and good luck!

Cheers,
oxoxo

New Year's Eve

It's 6.30 pm in the evening - still at work on a New Year's eve, typing away trying to finish up a proposal on Thursday, January 2nd 2014! Yes, a day after new year. Well, I guess work is like that - it's hardly like the times back in college whereby you are able to procrastinate till the late end of the semester before walloping 5 hugeass thick textbooks for the paper due the next day. You got to apply for leave in advance, even then, it is essential that 99% of your work is completed or you'd be in dipshit the day you return to work. At times even, a vacation is not like your typical lay-on-the-beach all day long vacation because when you are bound to receive work mails on your 'SMARTPHONE' [whoever that created it - not sure if he/she is a genius or merely loves working] - which means, obligation to check up on work!

Regardless of the rant I just made earlier about being lifeless while working, I ain't giving in to it. Heck, I am still going to partay later. Its a celebration for a brand new year after all. Life's too short to not celebrate with a bunch of crazies and just have drinks/fun!

Anyway - have a fantastic New Year celebration y'all!!

Love you lots!!

New Year's Messages

A HEARTFELT MESSAGE TO MY MATES FROM THE STATES

"Su...! Drink up mate! Cause we're going to partay at Boston's clubs after this! We got to be shitfaced by then! Drinks in them clubs are way too fucking expensive!" Mary yelled.

"Alright, alright love, hand me them Jameson," while I took a swig of it and stumbled towards Mary and Liz.

I was in Boston Harbor, standing on the brink of the bridge looking at my best mates, Mary and Liz chugging Irish Whisky, high as fuck while waiting for the fireworks show to start. One of the best  moments in my little Asian life, as I journey into a whole new beginning with one of the closest people I know. Oh, I miss them so bloody much. Being away from them is brutal.

Anyway....Can you fucking believe that it's nearly the end of 2013?! I still remember my first new year's celebration in the United States counting down to the year 2013 so vividly its like deja vu and here I am fast forward a year later, in MALAYSIA, taking a stroll down this memory lane.

Time, indeed, is such a precious gem. To me, to you, to everyone in this world.

In a glimpse of an eye, your once-a-toddler is now a I'm-always-right-teenager, and your parents whom used to hold that toddler up with such intense strength is now growing much older. *sniffs*

Hence, I want to take this opportunity to remind you lot that time is the only thing that cannot be turned back and which would cost you arms and legs should you not hurry the fuck up and start cherish the remains - especially with your loved ones.

**************

When I first returned to Malaysia, I had the most preposterous rage and temper ever especially towards my family. Had I realized what a dumb mofo I was, I would turn back time just to smack myself in the groins I've always thought I had. The anger, the swirls of emotions.. wasn't worthy of the time spent not talking to my mom. I have literally wasted a good solid week of amazing communication and time spent with her. Alas, the point here is to regret and realize your mistake so that there will be this tiny chance for you to rectify things.

Though this year has been a kickass-one-of-a-kind journey for myself, I believe that it will be better for the years to come.

And to  my mates in the states, here are my wishes to you lot

Dear Mary and Liz and your loveliest boyfriends,

Stay happy and healthy always, you lot will always be my besties and one of the most important part in my life. I know that I will be back soon, and craziness with a whole barrels of dancing and insanity will rejoice in our presence and all will be good. I miss you lot so much!

Cheers and love always,
little su su (eggroll)

Dear Phoebe,

You have been through all the hardship that only a strong young girl like yourself is able to endure. You are a great friend, a darn strong one, and I miss your friendship so badly too. Never give up to temptations or care about what others have to say about you. Let them be and let them say. Be the better person. And live your life.

Love you girl,
Emily

Dear Meg and John,

You both made a significant impact in my life. I love how you both work so hard and never giving up to the shitty world. I love how Meg is so protective and such an amazing mate! You, indeed, are another precious gem in my life that I would never forget, ever! And again, I know I will be back to you! Life's too short not spending around the people you love - so keep your chin up, fingers cross - praying that I will get a job in the states in a year's time and we'll be reunited!

Warmest Wishes and love always,
Emily (little asian)

Dear Belkis,

You, strong hot mamasita! My life inspiration. You have taught me to never give up during the darkest hour - to constantly cherish your loved ones despite of their differences and whatnot. I love you always, my classmate, my love. I miss you a whole lot too - especially your alcoholic eggnog? ahhaha. Please make a whole barrel for me so I can toss and drown myself in that delish alcohol!

Love you so much! (do send my love to all your beautiful chickas)
Emily (little asian)
Here's my whacky family and boyfriend - minus my little brother and his chick.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, HAPPY NEW YEAR PEEPS! <3 p="">

Society Today

Its absolutely outrageous to see what the society is slowly becoming into. Druglords, snatch thieves, rapists, serial killers etc. is a pure sheer of hint to what our world is becoming of - regardless of which part of the world you are in. Is that our major threat though?

Honestly, not necessarily. Because if you have come to known certain normal-looking people but with evil hearts, massive terrible intentions that would harm someone; it is just as terrible as the first scenario. Or perhaps, even worse, as you are not imparted by no drugs or whatnot - and yet you have the intentions to put someone in an awful place.

Allow me to provide an example - a young lad get into a company, he was truly excited and boisterous because he figured (probably is) a stepping stone to his success, he came in with this sense of hope and enthusiasm and optimism - only to be let down by the attitude of (colleagues/managers). Because he realized that instead of working as a team - he has been back-stabbed and being spoken ill of as well as being blamed upon when any unfavourable results happen. Nasty, but that is life. This shit happens. I have heard stories, even experienced my own.

So anyway, this is going to be a short post - but I would really appreciate if you lot could give your opinions on this topic. :)

Cheerios cranberians,

Life as you grow older

Just got back from a lunch date with a close friend of mine. She's absolutely a doll. We were just talking about everything under the sun - from work to relationships and family. Having to juggle all of this under tremendous stress from either one is unbearable, but then imagine yourself having to face this sort of stress from all kinds of directions. Ah. Say goodbye to your sanity.

Some would say - stay positive. Your thoughts can be more powerful than you think! Yes, undeniable, but how long can someone stay positive when the vibes around is all negative? We couldn't figure that out.
Regardless, I do believe in the power of optimism! It does play an effect. Another thing we agreed upon is your biggest enemy is yourself, whereas your closest friend is also yourself. Happiness is definitely within one's reach. How you rate your happiness is solely based on the decisions you make.
Oh, how true!

I  must say, working in a corporate world, having a foreigner bf, with insufficient funds while living in a city is none too easy. I am struggling, but I am sure at the end of this, I am bound to gain so much more than just experiences. I learn to grow stronger, to adapt in any living environment and deal with different kinds of people. The world, indeed, is your oyster.

Anyway, so long cranberrians!

Stay tuned to my next post!

Why did I return to Malaysia..

Alright.. Ever since I've returned to Malaysia, things are not as homely as I thought it would be. People, well, they are not so close knitted as I have expected. You know how when you were young and you longed to travel overseas to widen your horizon and your old folks would say - them foreigners are cold-blooded.

Honestly, where the shat do they get those idea from - beats the shit out of me. I don't know.

They, for sure, especially having to personally experienced them myself, are friendlier and homelier than anyone else I have ever met in Malaysia!

For instance, during a certain festive season, the white folks would have their homes decorated, rich or poor, large or small families - they will make sure that their homes are cozy and comfy, all food prepared from scratch, they will invite nice foreigners like myself to their humble space. Then, we would be talking about all sorts of things under the sun, drinking wine, playing board games, singing, dancing - etc. as opposed to Asians, gambling and gossiping.

Don't mind me, I most certainly do not have the faintest clue as to why I feel such disdain. I dont care who and what race you are - but I strongly believe that we are all humans on earth - and we ought to help and be good to one another.

But one thing for sure, i miss AMERICA so so so much! and all my pals over there!

What do I DO!?

PRay tell me, darling readers.
Nonetheless, I love you all still! <3 ever="" more="" p="" than="">

Work-a-holly-crap

Uh-oh! I told myself I would never, NEVER be a workaholic. Alas, things had taken another turn for me. Perhaps, I shouldn't make any resolutions or statements that I want to do such and such, but only to end up quite the opposite. Anyway, despite all of these, I actually enjoy working. A whole damn lot with my company. Allow me to briefly introduce my company and what I do.

*drum rolls*
Henry Butcher Malaysia - It's an international asset consultant company. Check it out at http://www.henrybutcher.com.my/. Now, upon my return from the United States, due to the huge ass peer pressure from family members - I was desperate to get a job. Thank the Almighty God, I found it. And a good ass company and boss too. So, I am the Personal Assistant to the Director, and also a Management Executive. What I am currently working on right now is absolutely my dream come true! and in MALAYSIA! What more could I ask for?

I am writing articles on interviews with socialites, well known architects, etc. I am working on social media, trying to kickstart the company's magazine and going on business trips as well as handling my own projects - just after one month! I must say, I am thankful to have a boss that puts so much confidence in me.

Anyhoo, I have to announce this project I am working on and its a FIRST GLOBAL LAUNCH in MALAYSIA! Holler! It is going to be wicked awesome. We are proud to present you Thailand Project to Malaysia. It is going to be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! More details to come!

Tune in to my next post lovers.

Back in the homeland!

Its been a solid four-month time period since I've been back to this glorious soil, Malaysia. Remember my sweet boyfriend of mine? Yep, he's back with me! You know, we have been through quite a lot of crazy shits together. Boy, was it a bloody roller coaster ride alright! These few months have not been easy for any of us, especially that brave young man. I ought to give him all the credits. He uprooted his entire life, sold everything he's had back home, EVERYTHING, and embarked on this buoyed wavy, full-of-risks journey with me! It's a complete different world over here, I must say. I myself, always felt, and still am, so out of place. Like I don't belong here. Don't get me wrong, I love the people here, everything is simply so very enchanting and mind-blowing with the multi-culture, diversity and beautiful tropical country. Its just that, to properly get acquainted with someone from Malaysia on the same wavelength is somewhat a couple of thousand miles apart, as opposed to making new friends in America. See, what I'm trying to say is, if I, a Malaysian don't feel too homely here, I can only imagine how that poor baby of mine is experiencing!

Anyway, we got back sometime in July, 2013 and have been straight on looking for jobs. High and low, up and down. Tough times are just around the corner, especially when the economy is facing a downward spiral. Especially when that particular job seeker is a foreigner in Malaysia. We have met with so many headhunters, connected with several people, applied to jobs via newspaper and online but it all swish swash away just like the wind. Then, I got a job offer, and started my job. It was definitely much more harder on that big guy.

There wasn't anything much I could do but to be extra supportive. Remember how I wasn't too good at loving anyone? This is different. I was willing to help him in any way without asking for anything in return. All I ever wanted for him is to be happy. Deep down inside, I have this strong faith in my boy that he would do great things. He would make a name for him in this global platform. So, hear my prayer Almighty God up there, I don't know what your plans are, but I am damn sure it contains great plans for the both of us. I appreciate you sending this man to me. I am pretty sure there is a reason behind it. But please, give us more time to make this through. Give us a sign that he can stay here. Please open up doors for him. A glimmer light that will give him a sense of hope. He's changed alot, and I am so effing proud of him. So please, give him a sign. Any sign. I pray to you Lord,
Amen.

So readers, you see, in life, you will face all sorts of obstacles in life. Please bear in mind that these struggles will only make you stronger and wiser. Do not succumb to failures and give up hope. Hope is a very important ingredient in your life. Have faith in yourself. And keep moving forward.

Grad school +living in the United States ain't easy

OHMYGOD! Has it been um several months since I've last posted? I am awfully sorry about this! I was so caught up with my volunteer + internship +job searching + grad school research work + cooking and cleaning up, I haven't got a spare second to even take a dump!

-Just Kidding- I am already full of shit, imagine if I had not taken a dump since my last post - I would be overflowing with poop by now!

Pff. So, its been six months with my God's gift to me - a great boyfriend. Been through a couple of ups and downs. For sure. But things are definitely going great for us.

I have just applied for a job at the university police department - crossing my fingers tightly - hoping that I would bloody make it. (I will get the results tomorrow from my pal!)
And I am currently interning at MassPIRG running this campaign - New Voters Registration (to get student to register so that they are able to cast their votes for the upcoming Presidential Election).
Also, a volunteer at a huge American Organization - AmeriCorps (Jumpstart) whereby I will be reading to preschool children + teaching them. I am receiving my first training tomorrow and I am totally looking forward to it already!

These couple of days, been down with horrible flu (caught it from my bf)! boo! But its so cute because we are two sick lovebirds that are doing a great job taking care of one another.

oh oh. I had dinner with his nana the other night. Initially I was beyond terrified - I wanted his family to like me - for sure. And boy was I relieved when his nana gently cupped my face like a chubby kid with both her hands telling me I am a great partner to her grandchild. I love her already. She was telling us that john and I make a great couple, John's brother and his gf of 9 years (WOWSER!), john's dad and his gf, and her husband is watching her ffrom above. She is still wearing his ring. He fought in WW2, returned to her - took great care of her. She neither drove the car nor lifted a finger to do anything. (that was back in the olden days where males believe that they oughta do everything for their ladies) I saw her sad eyes and her choky voice while telling her sad love story. I nearly cried. It was the most loving story I have ever heard.

So thatas basically the highlights of my life during my absence here. Don't worry darling readers for I shall never leave you out of my so very exciting life. =)

Gotta run to do my homework and wait for my baby to come home to me.
Till then, Adios!

Proper date night?

Okay, so we slowly waltzed our way into this beautiful relationship. John and I, we carved this gorgeous handmade vase from scratch, from recycled clay (as he would do - he's in the pottery class).

However. I noticed we haven't gone on a proper date before, where we would just dress up nicely and all. I was thinking I should totally suggest that to him because this would be really awesome. So, what do I ought to propose?

hmm, so I was thinking a dinner and.. what next really? Oh oh, what about a walk in the park, then heading off to a bar? How does that sound? Because all I want to do is to dress up really really nicely with proper proper lady make up and gorgeous killer heels on a night out with him.

Okay, so I am going to shoot him a message to let him know. Nonetheless, if you lot have suggestions, any suggestions at all regarding this 'first date night' for my man and I, do pen down your thoughts and ideas because I could really use some of those! Creative ones, sexy ones, kinky ones, anything. I'm absolutely up for it!

Cheers,

Housewife minus the babies

Thats right. I'm a full time student and recently, a full time housewife. (thats what my boyfriend calls me). Basically, no one knew I had this in me because fellow folks, I ain't one to do housewhores - oops, housechores. I must say this American boy brings the best out of me, like a lady. Don't get me wrong, I love doing it - ever since I met him, I have the need to ensure that he's well fed, bed's made, dishes washed etc. This bloke is even asking me to vacuum his place. Ha- ha. So, we went over to his dad's place for lunch. There were babies scattered everywhere. Us being young and all of course do not have marriage and kids in our vocabularies. Nonetheless, babies are dolls. Especially Italian-portugese bred babies. I couldn't resist. Neither could my man, sonto speak. You guys oughta see my big man (anti-babies) doing his scrunched up weird facial expression just to make this baby laugh - dude, he was hillarious and hes softening up. Anyway, this really. CUte baby was crawling around and playing around this dangerous area- i just had to picl her up and put her to a safer place. I guess its from the motherly instinct that grew on me upon meeting and having to take care of my man. As I carried her up, my boyfriend had that astounding look - haha. It was simply hillarious! He seemed rather shocked to be seeing me lifting up a baby - carrying her in my arms. That was one of the best moments in my life.
